I studied design at Coventry Polytechnic Faculty of Art graduating in 1986. I am a painter and printmaker and started printing relief and intaglio in 2017. Painting with oil and acrylic was a natural extension and I currently work mostly with acrylic. 

 

My work explores composition, balance, opposition, discord and unplanned interactions between colours, shapes and objects. Developing through sketches, direct painting and overpainting older works my work is predominantly abstract and non-representational.
